Bring your kid, pet, stuffie, or just yourself and join us at

the Stroller Derby.

FOR CHILDREN'S SAFETY, UMBRELLA STROLLERS WILL ONLY BE PERMITTED ON THE WALK.

DATE:  Saturday, September 10, 2022

WHERE:  Freeman Park in Idaho Falls.

TIME: 

 

  • 8:00 AM-  10K start  

  • 8:30 AM-  5K and walk start

  • 9:15 AM-  Awards ceremony

COURSE: 

 

  • This is a flat course run on paved park trails and roads. 

  • The majority of the 5K course is kept inside the park so family members can cheer you on.

  • The walk course is Science Center Drive and may be completed as many times as desired.

DIVISIONS: 

  • Male and female divisions by age

  • Ages divisions are Under 20; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; and 50+. 

  • Faster runners will be given autonomy from strollers at the starting line.  

  • A prize will be given to the first-place finisher in both the 5K and 10K in each gender and age division

 

REGISTRATION: 

 

  • Begins April 30, 2022

  • Closes September 8, 2022  

  • Cost is $20 for the walk and $25 for the 5K or 10K.

  • At the time of registration, sales tax and a small processing fee from the timing company will also be charged.  Runners will not receive t-shirts as part of registration.

CHARITABLE INFO:  The race will benefit Skyline Cross Country

  • Join us after the race, for a decorated-stroller contest. 

  • Prizes given for the three best-decorated strollers in both the "umbrella stroller" and "jogging stroller" categories. 

  • Please make sure your decorations are sturdy enough to last throughout the run.  Let's keep our green spaces beautiful.
